Five of a family rescued from flood water in Reasi

Reasi, April 16: Five of a family were rescued by locals and police after a vehicle got stuck in flash flood at Dera Baba in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.

The vehicle, police said, was on way to Reasi and crossing road at Dera Baba in Reasi tehsil area when it got stuck in flash flood.

Locals and police teams rushed to the spot and carried out a rescue operation with driver, his wife, his mother and two children got stuck in the vehicle.

In the incident that happened in late evening hours on Tuesday, said locals, all five passengers had a narrow escape of life.
