Fisheries Deptt bids farewell to Ghulam Mohd Bhagat

Kokernag, Sep 4: The Department of Fisheries accorded a warm and emotional farewell to Ghulam Mohammad Bhagat, popularly known as Gull Mohripori, on the occasion of his superannuation.

The farewell ceremony was held at the Fisheries Training School, Kokernag, and was attended by Joint Director Fisheries (South) Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Wani, Chief Project Officer Fish Farm Kokernag Sajad Hussain Dar, Deputy Director and Principal Fisheries Training School Kokernag Fayaz Ahmed Fayaz, Fisheries Development Officer Bashir Ahmad Lone, and Fisheries Development Assistant Syed Manzoor Ahmad, along with other officials, dignitaries, guests, and departmental staff.

During the event, the outgoing officer was felicitated with mementoes and tokens of appreciation in recognition of his dedicated service.

Apart from his government service, Gull Mohripori is widely celebrated as a theatre artist, writer, director, poet, and Chief Patron of Alamdar Bhagat Theatre Mohripora, Anantnag. His colleagues expressed hope that retirement will afford him more time to pursue his artistic passions and make further contributions to the field of art and culture.
