Fire erupts in residential houses at Rajbagh Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 24: A fire broke out in Kursu Rajbagh area of Srinagar on Monday.

As per an official, the fire broke out in one of the houses and engulfed multiple residential structures in the area.

The official from the Fire and Emergency department said, “We received the fire call at around 11:44 am and soon rushed multiple fire tenders to douse off the flames. The operation to control the fire is on as we speak."

The official said that the cause of the fire is under investigation. He said that as per initial reports two to four houses are involved in fire and Fire and Emergency units are working to bring the fire under control.
