Fire damages shop in Ramban Market

Ramban, Aug 24: A fire broke out in Ward No. 3 of Ramban Market on Sunday, damaging a shop and prompting a swift response from the district administration, police, and emergency services, officials said.

On receiving information, rescue teams comprising the Fire & Emergency Department, Police, Civil QRT, locals and other agencies immediately rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to adjoining shops and residential areas.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, reached the spot and supervised the rescue operation to ensure coordinated efforts by all concerned departments and agencies.
