Fire damages hotel in Sonamarg

Ganderbal, May 13: A hotel was damaged in a fire incident in Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday evening, officials said.

Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that fire broke out in Glacier Heights hotel in Sonamarg this evening, following which fire tenders rushed to the spot.

No loss of human life has been reported yet.

He said the the hotel was partially damaged, while the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident, said the official.
