Fire damages four houses in Bohri Kadal Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 21: At least four houses were damaged in a pre-dawn fire that broke out in the Bohri Kadal area of the old city in Srinagar city here on Friday.

An official said that fire damaged four residential houses, adding that the fire call was received at 4:18 am.

According to news agency KNO, when the staff of the Fire and Emergency Department arrived at the scene, they found two to three houses engulfed in flames.

“The fire was later brought under control, and no loss of life or injuries was reported,” KNO quoted an official as saying.

The affected structures included three residential houses and one five-storey residential-cum-commercial building.
