Fire damages complex at Gogji Bagh

Srinagar, Oct 30: A shopping complex was partially damaged in a fire incident at Gogji Bagh area here today.

An official of Fire and Emergency Department said that they received information about the incident at 10:42 A.m. and soon pressed multiple units of the Fire and Emergency Department to the spot.

“Multiple rooms, including the storeroom and security room, were gutted in the incident. Four generators and four transformers were also gutted in the fire incident. We used special equipment to make way as smoke had engulfed the whole basement. Fortunately, the fire was brought under control with minimum damage,” said an official.
