Fire breaks out in steel industry building in Sanat Nagar

Videos on the internet showed fire fighters manoeuvring the fire-hit building amid darkness and chaos.

Srinagar, Nov 01: A fire erupted Friday evening in a building in Srinagar’s Sanat Nagar owned by Northern Steel Industry, reports said.

Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the fire affected a building of the Northern Steel Industry.

The official said that a team from Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) is on the spot and are making efforts to extinguish the flames.
