FIR against Rahul BJP’s act of desperation: Karra
Jammu, Dec 20: JKPCC president Tariq Hameed Karra Friday alleged that the FIR registered by BJP against the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was an act of desperation by it (BJP) as a diversionary tactic.

The party has been protesting against BJP and the remarks of the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah.
JKPCC working presidents Tara Chand and Raman Bhalla too accompanied Karra in the protest, besides other leaders.
Karra said that Dr Ambedkar was a symbol of equality, justice and social transformation and remarks hurt.
He alleged that BJP MPs tried to misbehave with the Congress President, the Leader of the Opposition and other MPs.
“In a further act of desperation, they registered a false FIR against the Leader of the Opposition as a blatant attempt to divert attention and suppress voices of dissent,” Karra said.
Prominent leaders, who participated in the protest, included Thakur Balwan Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Ved Mahajan, Thakur Balbir Singh, Indu Pawar, Rajnish Sharma, Surinder Singh Channi, Thakur Manmohan Singh and Iftikhar Ahmed (MLA) besides others.
