Finance deptt asks employees to comply with transfer orders

Jammu, Oct 23: J&K Finance Department has asked its employees to comply with the transfer orders and join their new places of posting before October 27.

It has warned that in case of their failure to do so, they will face “action as warranted under rules.”

Circular instructions have been issued by the Director General (DG) Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department after taking serious note of the non-compliance of recent transfer orders by certain officers and officials.

“It has been brought to the notice of the department that certain officers/officials transferred in the recent past have not joined their new places of posting and are continuing at their previous places of postings without any authorization. The matter has been viewed seriously,” DG Accounts and Treasuries stated.
