Fight against terrorism existential struggle: BJP

Jammu, May 28: “Operation Sindoor the meticulously orchestrated and efficiently executed response to terrorism post barbaric Pahalgam massacre has taken the fight against terrorism to a new level. This is a fight against terrorism existential struggle and not a battle for petty politics.”

This was stated by Girdhari Lal Raina, ex-MLC and spokesperson of BJP Jammu Kashmir in a press conference here on Wednesday.

He, however, criticised, what he alleged, “opportunistic opposition parties for attempting to shift narrative from fight against terrorism to petty political issues.” “These opposition parties are trying to bail out Pakistan, the manufacturing factory and sponsor of cross border terrorism in India and other countries across the world,” Raina said.

Raina was accompanied by Rajni Sethi, spokesperson of BJP and Dr Pardeep Mahotra, media in-charge, J&K BJP.

Ex MLC said that “Operation Sindoor” not only defined a new normal marking a noticeable shift in India’ policy of restraint to deterrence by punishment but also pushed India to leadership role globally in the fight against Terrorism.

Raina cautioned people to identify and expose all forces inimical to peace, progress, prosperity and development.
