FCIK mourns loss of promising entrepreneur Ajaz Ahmad
Srinagar, Mar 11: The Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Ajaz Ahmad, a young talented and promising entrepreneur, who tragically succumbed to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Ajaz was the younger brother of Bashir Ahmad of Diamond Steels, a well-respected entrepreneur and Vice President of the SICOP Unit Holders Association (SUHA). Known for his unwavering dedication and strong sense of integrity, Ajaz made a significant impact in both his community and the business world.
The entire industrial fraternity of the valley, through the FCIK Advisory Committee, including President Shahid Kamili, M.D. Qureshi, Shakeel Qalander, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, and Mohammad Ashraf Mir, alongside Ovees Jami and Mohammad Altaf, has expressed profound grief over his sudden departure. They have described this loss as a devastating blow, one that has left the family in deep sorrow, while also impacting the broader business community in Kashmir.
Ajaz Ahmad was not only a respected exporter of Kashmiri crafts to Saudi Arabia, but also a beacon of honesty, integrity, and commitment to his craft. His contributions to promoting Kashmiri handicrafts on the international stage were invaluable. He was admired for his dedication and hard work, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
FCIK extends its heartfelt condolences to the grieving family during this incredibly challenging time and prays for their strength to endure this immense sorrow.
