Srinagar, Aug 24: The issue surrounding control of FAT-affiliated schools in Kashmir taken over by the Education Ministry of J&K State should not be politicised, Farooq Renzushah said on Sunday.

As per a statement, he said “These schools should have been protected as part of our educational culture by handing them over to the Waqf Board for non-radical education, rather than closing the doors of education by politicising this issue.”

Renzushah said that many legislators of the present ruling coalition have received education from such schools. He said that while he himself studied in Government School Shora Gari Mohalla, Nawab Bazar, and many long-term legislators also studied in FAT-affiliated schools.
