Farooq Shah inaugurates library at Kunzer

Srinagar, Oct 27: MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah inaugurated the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Library at Kunzer

According to a press note he also interacted with PG students and attended the award distribution ceremony as chief guest at SKICC.

MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah officially inaugurated the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Library and Study Point at Kunzer, a significant initiative aimed at enhancing educational resources for the community. The library is designed to provide students with a dedicated space for study and research, honoring the legacy of Dr Kalam's commitment to education.

At the inauguration, MLA Shah expressed his appreciation for the establishment of the library, emphasising its importance in fostering a love for learning and providing students with essential tools for academic success. “This library will serve as a beacon of knowledge and inspiration for our youth,” he stated.

In a separate event, MLA Shah had an interaction program with female postgraduate students from the constituency at Payam Restaurant, to encourage their aspirations and uplift their social status. He underscored the crucial role education plays in empowering women, urging them to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to society. “Your education is your strength; never underestimate your potential,” he remarked.

Earlier in the day, MLA Shah attended the award distribution ceremony for the 24th Annual All J&K UT Level Talent Search Test at SKICC, where he praised the efforts to celebrate student achievements and promote academic excellence across the region.
