Farooq, Omar express anguish over loss of lives 

Srinagar, Feb 12: National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed profound grief over the death of three teenage sisters in a tragic fire incident that broke out at their home in a remote village in Ramban district.

Condoling the loss of lives in the devastating fire, the duo asked the district administration to grant ex-gratia for the next-of-kin of the dead and a comprehensive compensation to all those whose dwellings were fully or partially gutted in the tragic incident.

Meantime Party's Provincial President Jammu Ratan Lal Gupta and District President Ramban & In Charge Constituency Banihal Sajjad Shaheen have also extended sympathies to the bereaved families & impressed upon the local administration to reach out the affected with adequate relief and compensation.
