Srinagar, Sep 16: National Conference (NC) President and Member of Parliament from Srinagar Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah, and Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari felicitated the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

In their messages, Farooq and Omar emphasised the significance of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) as a time to wholeheartedly embrace the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and to actively support those in need. The duo fervently prayed for peace and stability in J&K.

“As the final messenger sent by Allah to humanity till all eternity, the message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is timeless and universal. He epitomises peace, justice, and mercy, as exemplified in the Holy Quran. Let us pray that this auspicious occasion ushers in lasting peace, prosperity, and harmony in the region,” he said.

In his message, Omar Abdullah emphasised the significance of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) as a time for prayer, seeking forgiveness, and blessings from Allah for all of mankind. He fervently prayed to Allah for wisdom and guidance, urging us to follow the path illuminated by the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari extended warm greetings to the people, particularly the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).

He prayed that this revered occasion brings peace, prosperity, and well-being to the people of J&K, who have been grappling with hardships and challenging situations for quite a long time.

In his message on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), Bukhari said, “Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), which commemorates the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is one of the most revered occasions for people around the world. This blessed day brings divine grace to humanity, as Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as a messenger of peace and harmony for all living beings.

I extend my heartfelt greetings to everyone, especially to the Muslim community, on this auspicious occasion. I urge all, particularly devotees and worshippers, to pray for peace, tranquility, and the well-being of our land and its people on this sacred day. May this Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi bring peace and harmony into our lives and may the blessings of this sacred occasion fill our hearts with Allah's mercy, guiding us to the righteous path.”
