Farmer in south Kashmir’s Pulwama shifts from apple to vegetables, reaps success daily

Farooq Ahmad, a 55-year-old farmer from Tahab village in Pulwama district, has cut down 5 kanals of his 20-kanal apple orchard to transition from apple farming to integrated farming. According to him, growing vegetables provides a daily income, unlike apple farming, which yields earnings only once a year. Sofi is satisfied with his decision and finds the shift beneficial.
