Farhan Kitab to head Joint Traders Association

Srinagar, Feb 13: The Joint Traders Association (JTA), an amalgamation of 14 markets in the city centre, held a meeting to elect its new office bearers.

Farhan Kitab has been elected as the new chairman of JTA. Feroz Baba will serve as the general secretary while Shiraz Ahmed Mir has been appointed as the treasurer. Bilal Ahmad Dar will be the spokesperson and handle media activities for JTA.

During the meeting, the JTA members deliberated on addressing concerns within the trade community. Discussions revolved around issues such as GST, electricity amnesty, and various other taxes.
