He is working on a transmission line there. However, since July 15, I have not been able to contact him. Through the persons known to the family, there in Niger, we have come to know that recently the company has faced a terrorist attack and my husband has been abducted by terrorists,” She lamented that the company concerned did not bother to inform her about the status of her husband. It was only after repeated communication with the officers of the company that they revealed about the abduction of my husband. However, the company seemed to be doing nothing to procure his (Ranjeet's) safe release, she alleged.
