Rajouri, Jan 1: On the second anniversary of the deadly terror attack in Dhangri village of Rajouri that left seven people dead and 13 injured, a condolence meeting was organised in the area in which the members of victim families and locals participated.

The condolence meeting was organised in Dhangri Chowk wherein religious prayers were offered and tributes paid to the victims who lost their lives in the terror strike in this village two years ago.

Later, a rally was also organised by the members of victim families raising slogans for justice.

“Our best investigation agencies are investigating the case but we are still waiting for justice,” Saroj Bala said.

Saroj, who lost her two sons, Deepak and Prince in the attack, said that they had suspicion on some people who could be involved in the attack and the investigation agencies should immediately grill them.

“I am pained to say that we are still waiting for justice,” she said.

Bala recalled her twin meetings with the union minister and other top leaders of the country saying that assurance of justice was given by everyone but these were yet to be fulfilled.

Terrorists attacked minority families in Dhangri village of Rajouri on January 1, 2023, in which seven people including two children lost their lives in indiscriminate firing and IED explosion while 13 people sustained injuries.
