Fairdeal Group unveils All-New Tata Sierra
Srinagar, Dec 20: Celebrating 25 years of partnership with Tata Motors, Fairdeal Group, Jammu and Kashmir’s largest Tata car dealer, on Saturday unveiled the all-new Tata Sierra in Srinagar, marking the grand comeback of the iconic SUV in a modern, powerful and premium avatar.
The unveiling reflected Fairdeal Group’s long-standing customer trust and Tata Motors’ focus on engineering excellence, safety and innovation. The event was attended by Fairdeal Group Managing Director Saleem Bakshi, Farhan Bakshi, Executive Director Bhagwan Dass Gandotra, Rohit Gandotra and Arshid, along with customers and automobile enthusiasts.
The new Tata Sierra is powered by Tata Motors’ latest-generation four-cylinder engines, developed to offer a balance of performance, refinement and versatility. The line-up includes a 1.5-litre TGDi Hyperion petrol engine aimed at delivering strong and responsive performance with high efficiency, a 1.5-litre Revotron petrol engine designed for smooth and refined everyday driving, and a 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine offering robust, torque-rich performance for long highway runs.
Customers will have multiple transmission choices, including a six-speed manual, a six-speed advanced automatic and a sporty seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Designed for Indian road conditions, the Sierra promises enhanced ride comfort, stability and safety across city roads, highways and mountainous terrain.
In terms of design, the new Sierra draws inspiration from the original model, retaining the iconic wraparound glasshouse and muscular stance, while incorporating contemporary elements such as Night Saber LED daytime running lamps, Bi-LED booster headlamps, connected tail lamps and 19-inch aero-insert alloy wheels. The interiors feature a spacious, lounge-like cabin equipped with a horizon-view triple-screen infotainment system, premium upholstery with a first-in-segment thigh support extender, a panoramic sunroof and a premium audio system featuring a Sonic Shaft soundbar and 12 JBL speakers.
The SUV also comes loaded with advanced technology and safety features, including ADAS Level 2+ with 22 driver assistance systems, a 360-degree surround view system with blind view monitor, wireless charging and ventilated seats. Built on Tata’s new ARGOS platform, the Sierra has been engineered to deliver high levels of crash protection and has undergone head-on car-to-car crash testing, setting new safety benchmarks in the segment.
Speaking on the occasion, Group General Manager of Fairdeal Motors Amit Sharma said the return of the Sierra holds strong emotional value for Indian car lovers. He said unveiling the new Sierra during Fairdeal Group’s 25-year association with Tata Motors made the occasion especially significant. He invited customers in Srinagar to visit Fairdeal Motors showrooms to experience what he described as the rebirth of an icon that is more powerful, premium and future-ready than ever before.
