Exhibition cricket match for visually impaired players held in Sopore

Sopore, Jul 4: In a heartwarming display of inclusivity and community spirit, an exhibition cricket match for the visually impaired was held at Subhana Stadium, Sopore, drawing appreciation from locals and dignitaries alike.

The event was organised by Noor Mohammad Lone, Nissar Ahmad Khanday, Akhter Malik, Roaf Chalkoo, and Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, all former legendary cricketers of Sopore, whose dedication to the cause made this event possible.

The match was sponsored by Masrat Rasool Kar, former President of the Municipal Council of Sopore, along with Noor Mohammad Lone and Roaf Chalkoo.

MLA Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar graced the occasion as the chief guest, acknowledging the organisers’ efforts and expressing his full support for promoting accessible sports and community engagement in the region.
