Ex-legislator Gulzar Wani rejoins PDP

Srinagar, Jun 19: Former legislator Gulzar Ahmad Wani has rejoined PDP.

PDP President Mehbooba Mufti welcomed Wani back. She said, “Extremely delighted to welcome Gulzar Ahmad Wani, former MLA and a highly respected figure admired by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, back into the PDP. Known for his dedication and deep connection with the people, his return will undoubtedly strengthen our party, especially in South Kashmir.”

According to KNS, PDP leader Peer Mansoor called Wani’s return a “momentous occasion,” praising his integrity and commitment to the party’s core values. “His leadership will help us better address the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Wani’s return comes at a crucial time as the PDP works to consolidate its political influence in the region.
