Srinagar, Oct 28: The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Jammu, in collaboration with the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), organised the 'Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0' awareness and joint outreach programme (Suvidha Samagam for ESIC) at the SICOP IID Centre Conference Hall in Kathua.

The programme aimed to sensitise employers and employees from the aforementioned areas about the provisions of social security, covering themes such as "Filing Grievance" – how to file grievances on EPFiGMS and other portals, digital services, and the rights of employees in respect of employers.

PF Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu, and Ajeet Kumar Singh, Assistant Director ESIC, RO Jammu, informed the participants that subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees' representatives, and industrial chambers are advised to actively participate in the Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program (Suvidha Samagam for ESIC).

The event provided a platform for employer representatives, including the Vice President of Kathua Industry Association Vinay Mahajan, Parveen Tayagi CTM Kathua, Danish Sharma from Charipal Polyfilms, Satish Sharma from Nicer Paper Mills, and Abhinesh Kumar from IEC Electric Power Ltd., to raise various issues and seek guidance from the EPFO and ESIC officials.

The officials addressed the concerns raised by the employers, providing proactive support and encouraging them to enhance their membership and enroll all eligible employees. They also resolved grievances and addressed misconceptions during the programme.
