Er Rashid campaigns for party candidate in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Sep 23: Member of Parliament and Chairman Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) Er Rashid on Monday joined the campaign for his party candidate Sheikh Ashiq in Ganderbal.

AIP Chairman along with party candidate Sheikh Ashiq addressed a gathering of supporters in Safapora area here.

While addressing the supporters, Er Rashid hoped that the people of Ganderbal will not disappoint him and will vote for AIP candidate Sheikh Ashiq. He said that Ganderbal is not anyone's property who will have only right to rule here.

Talking to media persons, Er Rashid said that the National Conference, and Apni Party are the B teams of BJP who want to defeat him together.

Rashid asked Omar Abdullah why he accepted support from the leader of a party he had vilified as the BJP's B team. " Muntazir Mohiuddin of the Apni Party extended support to Omar Abdullah in Budgam. According to Omar Abdullah, the same Apni Party was the BJP's B team. How did he accept the support," he said and added that all regional outfits including NC, Apni party and Sajad Lone’s had come together to pull down his party in the assembly elections.
