Er Aijaz Hussain inaugurates U-12 & U-15 football tournament in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jun 30: In a bid to promote youth sports in Kashmir, senior BJP leader and DDC Member Srinagar, Er Aijaz Hussain, on Monday inaugurated the U-12 and U-15 Football Tournament at Polo Ground in Lalchowk Srinagar.

Organised by the Kashmir Grassroot Football Academy, the event as per a statement, aims to nurture budding talent and sports culture in the Valley.

During the inaugural ceremony, Er Aijaz Hussain interacted with young players and coaches, commending their passion and discipline towards the game. He lauded the efforts of the organizers for providing a professional platform to emerging talent and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting sports at the grassroots level.

Er Aijaz assured full support to the academy and players, emphasizing that sports not only develop physical fitness but also instill values of leadership, discipline, and unity among youth. He encouraged local youth to pursue sports as a constructive path and a means of nation-building.
