EPFO to host Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 in Jammu, Ladakh

Srinagar, Sep 26: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu and Ladakh will hold Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach programme, simultaneously at two venues on September 27. The events will take place at the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Conference Hall in Jammu and the Rural Self Employment Training Institute in Ladakh.

PF Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, will personally address grievances and provide support to workers and employers. The program aims to sensitize stakeholders about social security provisions, digital services, and employee rights.

The events will cover various aspects including grievance filing procedures, digital service awareness, fraud prevention, and employee rights regarding employers. EPFO schemes such as PF, Pension, and Insurance will be discussed in detail.

Handholding sessions will be conducted, along with discussions on EPFO initiatives such as e-Nomination, online claim filing, and KYC updates. A special pension help desk will be available to address related concerns on the spot.

District Nodal Officers will lead the programmes in their respective locations. The EPFO encourages broad participation from subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives, and industrial chambers.

Commissione Rizwan emphasised the importance of extending social security benefits to all eligible employees from their first day of employment. He also highlighted that EPFO services have been available in the Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019.

The programme will also cover enrollment of members, UAN activation, bank and Aadhaar seeding, online claim filing, and ECR filing. The EPFO welcomes suggestions from participants to improve its services and outreach efforts, demonstrating its commitment to addressing the needs of its stakeholders in the region.
