EPFO to hold 'Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0' programmes in Jammu, Ladakh
Jammu, Aug 23: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu and Ladakh will conduct its "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" program simultaneously at two venues on August 27.
The awareness and outreach initiative will take place at Hotel Trinetar in Patnitop, Udhampur, and at the National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa in Leh, Ladakh.
P.F. Commissioner Rizwan Uddin, RPFC-I, RO Jammu and Ladakh, will personally address grievances of workers and employers. The program aims to provide handholding support to those in need and raise awareness about social security provisions.
The event will focus on educating participants about filing grievances through EPFiGMS and other portals, promoting digital services and fraud prevention, and informing employees about their rights regarding employers. District Nodal Officers Devinder Singh EO/AO, Harshit Pathak, EO/AO, and Sandeep Kumar, SS, will lead the sessions at Patnitop and Leh-Ladakh, respectively.
The EPFO encourages active participation from subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employee representatives, and industrial chambers. The program will highlight EPFO schemes such as PF, Pension, and Insurance, and address stakeholder queries and feedback.
Commissioner Uddin emphasized the importance of extending social security benefits to eligible employees from their first day of employment. The event will also feature handholding sessions on PF provisions and modalities.
Participants can expect information on recent EPFO initiatives, including e-Nomination, Online Claim Filing, Principal Employer Dashboard, and KYC updates in UAN. Special attention will be given to grievances related to member profile updates through Joint Declaration and death cases.
