EPFO organises seminar on PMVBRY in Kupwara

Srinagar, Dec 2: Employee's provident fund Organisation (EPFO), Srinagar organised a seminar on the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) at the Industrial Estate Bremri Kupwara.

The seminar, attended by employers and employees from the local industrial units, focused on creating awareness about the scheme’s objectives, key benefits, and operational framework, said a press release.

EPFO officials explained how the PMVBRY aims to promote job creation by encouraging employers to hire new workers and integrate them into the formal workforce. They further highlighted the vital role industries play in effectively utilizing the scheme to generate new employment opportunities and extend social security benefits to first-time employees.

Participants were encouraged to take full advantage of the scheme to support industrial growth and strengthen the region’s workforce.
