Srinagar, Aug 27: The Regional Office Kashmir of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) conducted its "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" outreach programme at Town Hall, Anantnag today.

The event, aimed at increasing EPFO's accessibility and addressing stakeholder concerns, was led by Latif Ahmad Zargar, Accounts Officer, under the guidance of Vinay Kumar, RPFC-II/Officer In-charge Kashmir Division.

The programme provided comprehensive information on the EPF and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, Employees' Pension Scheme 1995, and Linked Insurance Scheme 1976. Participants were educated about e-nominations, KYC procedures, and EDLI benefits, which offer assured benefits of 2.5 to 7 lakh rupees for eligible deceased members' nominees.

On-the-spot services were available for e-nomination filing, KYC seeding, and claim submissions. The event also offered guidance on compliance, return filing, and digital signature certificates. A special pension help desk was set up to address related issues and grievances.

Employees and employers from various establishments actively participated, with their queries addressed and grievances settled on-site. The initiative was well-received, with participants expressing appreciation and requesting continued outreach efforts.

This successful event underscores EPFO's commitment to bringing stakeholders together on a common platform and sensitizing them about new initiatives undertaken in their interest.
