EPFO Jammu organises award cermony

Srinagar, Nov 17: EPFO Regional Office in Jammu organised an Award Ceremony to recognise the outstanding contributions of employees from Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. A statement said that the event also marked the Closing Ceremony of "Hindi Pakhwada-2023," a fortnight-long celebration promoting the use of Hindi in official communications, conducted from September 14th to 29th.

The ceremony, which took place from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM, had Anil Batra, AGM, BSNL, as the special invitee.

Rizwan Uddin, Regional P F Commissioner – I, extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guest. "Hindi Pakhwada-2023" festivities were observed across all EPFO Regional Offices in the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, including RO Jammu, RO Srinagar, and DO Leh (Ladakh).

Outstanding employees were recognised for their dedication and exemplary work. Sanjeev Kumar, SSSA, Chiranji Lal Sharma, SS, and Dharmendra Kumar, SSSA were awarded as the best employees in RO Srinagar, RO Jammu, and RO Ladakh, respectively.

Notably, all three honorees have been working in "Flexi-Hours."

Sanjeev Kumar, the first employee to begin work at 6:20 am, demonstrated exceptional commitment, volunteering for weekend shifts and settling a remarkable 819 claims in a single day.

Chiranji Lal Sharma, recognised for settling the maximum number of claims within three days, was celebrated as the best employee in EPFO, Jammu. Rizwan Uddin, P F Commissioner, also honored Dharmendra Kumar for his contributions to accounts-related work in RO Ladakh.

Acknowledging the efforts of all employees working in flexi-hours and efficiently managing claims, Commissioner Rizwan Uddin expressed appreciation.

The conclusion of "Hindi Pakhwada" saw enthusiastic participation from officers and staff, engaging in activities such as 'Vichar Pratiyogita,' 'Nibandh Pratiyogita,' 'Tippan,' and 'Aalekhan Pratiyogita' to promote Hindi in official communications within the office.
