EPFO Jammu hosts shooting event for children on National Sports Day

Jammu, Aug 30: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Jammu celebrated National Sports Day 2025 by organising a vibrant series of sporting and fitness activities from August 29 to 31.

As part of the celebrations, a special shooting event for children was held on August 30 at the Shooting Range of the District Youth Services and Sports Office, Apsara Road, Jammu.

The event was designed to promote sports and fitness among children, giving them a platform to showcase their skills in a competitive yet enjoyable atmosphere. Young participants displayed enthusiasm and talent, reflecting the spirit of National Sports Day.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Vinakshi Koul, Joint Director, Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, who presented trophies to the winners. She was felicitated with the Major Dhyan Chand Trophy by Satya Prakash, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, EPFO Jammu, for her support in making the event a success.

EPFO Jammu reaffirmed that by fostering sports and physical activity among children, it seeks to nurture a healthier, more active society while encouraging excellence in sports.
