EPFO Jammu holds ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ outreach programme in Samba
Jammu, Dec 29: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Jammu, organised its flagship public outreach programme Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 at the premises of Kandhari Beverages Pvt. Ltd. in Samba, aimed at strengthening stakeholder awareness and improving service delivery at the grassroots level.
A statement said that the programme was presided over by Satya Prakash, Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner, who underlined the importance of proactive engagement with employers and employees to ensure timely and accurate access to EPFO services. He said such outreach initiatives play a vital role in enhancing transparency, compliance, and trust in the social security framework.
Participants were briefed on major government initiatives focused on expanding social security coverage and strengthening labour welfare. It was informed that the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2025, operational from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, offers establishments an opportunity to enrol eligible employees and regularise pending records through a simplified process.
The gathering was also apprised of the forthcoming implementation of the Four Labour Codes, which aim to consolidate and modernise labour laws. These reforms are expected to ensure fair wages, safer workplaces, comprehensive social security, and enhanced welfare measures, contributing to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Special emphasis was laid on the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY), with detailed discussions on its objectives, benefits, and implementation framework. Officials informed that more than 1,050 establishments in the Jammu Division have already registered under the scheme, reflecting encouraging progress in formal employment generation.
To further streamline the registration process, employers were informed about the availability of the establishment modification request functionality on the PMVBRY registration portal, which allows submission of PAN change requests.
Senior representatives from Kandhari Beverages Pvt. Ltd., including Ashish Sethi, Plant Head; Sunil Thappa, Senior Executive HR, Unit-I; and Abhishek Sharma, Executive, Unit-II, were present during the programme, along with Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer.
Participants were guided on improving member services through timely submission of Joint Declarations, KYC correction and updation, UAN seeding, and verification of bank account details to ensure seamless claim settlement. The interactive session concluded with on-the-spot resolution of queries raised by employers, employees, and company representatives.
