Srinagar, Sep 17: In a remarkable display of dedication,  Sanjeev Kumar, a star performer at the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in Jammu, set a new record by processing 1,124 claims in a single day on September 16. This feat marks the highest number of claims processed by an individual in one day across EPFO offices nationwide.

A statement said that Kumar began his task at 12:01 AM and worked tirelessly until 11:59 PM, showcasing exceptional commitment to improving service delivery. His progress throughout the day was closely monitored by Shri Ashwani Kumar, Programmer, and P.F. Commissioner Rizwan Uddin.

EPFO Jammu has also made significant strides in other areas of service delivery. With recent policy changes requiring one-time passwords (OTP) for employer logins, EPFO Jammu has streamlined the process of updating registered mobile numbers, ensuring minimal disruption to contribution remittances.

Under P.F. Commissioner Rizwan Uddin's leadership, EPFO Jammu has maintained a return rejection ratio of 15.92%, well below the national average of 22-24%. The office has also implemented efficient processes to update basic member details, including the use of WhatsApp and phone calls to facilitate quick resolutions.

As a token of appreciation for his exceptional performance, Kumar was presented with a book titled "Mindset" by Commissioner Rizwan Uddin.

These efforts highlight EPFO Jammu's commitment to improving service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction through dedicated volunteerism and efficient use of technology.
