During the interactive session, employers raised various issues. One concern was about PF deposits for short-term workers. Uddin clarified that the EPF and MP Act 1952 applies from day one of employment, and workers can use the same UAN across job changes.

L.M Mohanty, DGM of IOCL, urged transport carriage contractors to provide social security benefits to their drivers. Ramesh Lal from Batra Bros. praised EPFO schemes for reducing the burden on employers regarding employee advances.

The program also included a handholding session on DSC/E-Sign registration and ECR challan filing. Grievances were addressed, and guidance was provided on PF withdrawals.

A similar programme was conducted at the Rural Self-Employment Training Institute, SBI, Ladakh, by Pritesh Parihar, SSSA (Ladakh).

The event emphasized that social security benefits, including the Employees' Pension Scheme 1995 and enhanced Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes 1976, have been available to employees in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019.

IOCL and BPCL representatives committed to raising awareness about EPFO schemes among transport contractors.

The programme successfully engaged stakeholders, providing valuable information and addressing concerns about EPFO services and benefits.
