Samba, Feb 27: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Jammu, marked the third anniversary of its flagship public outreach initiative, *Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0*, at the premises of Godrej Agrovet Ltd in Samba. The event was held alongside an interaction with members of the Samba Industrial Association, aiming to enhance stakeholder awareness and strengthen grassroots service delivery.

The programme was presided over by Sumeet Singh, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, accompanied by a team of Enforcement Officers. Addressing participants, he stressed the importance of proactive engagement with employers and employees to ensure timely and accurate access to EPFO services. He said such outreach programmes help improve transparency, compliance and trust in the social security framework.

Participants were briefed about key government initiatives, including the Employees’ Enrolment Scheme 2025, operational from November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, which enables establishments to enrol eligible employees and regularise pending records in a simplified manner. The gathering was also informed about the upcoming implementation of the Four Labour Codes aimed at modernising labour laws and strengthening worker welfare.

Special focus was placed on the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY). Officials said over 2,000 establishments and 28,500 employees in Jammu Division have registered under the scheme so far.

A meeting with the Samba Industrial Association, led by its president Raman Jolly and general secretary Arjun Malhotra, was also held. The Commissioner urged industry representatives to leverage welfare schemes to promote formal employment generation.

Senior representatives from Godrej Agrovet, ESIC and EPFO officials were present on the occasion. The event concluded with a reaffirmation of EPFO’s commitment to delivering efficient and accessible social security services across Jammu Division.
