EO MC Anantnag assumes charge

Anantnag, Feb 16: Suhail Malik on Friday assumed charge as Executive Officer of  Municipal Council (MC) Anantnag.

Malik was transferred on February 13, relieving Dr Showkat Ahmad Bhat of additional charge of the post.

Malik earlier held the additional charge of Municipal Council Shopian.

Soon after taking charge, Malik interacted with the officials and impressed upon them to work efficiently for the betterment of the society.  He geared up the machinery in view of the weather forecast, predicting a heavy snow fall from February 18 to 21.

Malik said that the municipal council  would work to improve the utility services and promote sustainable urban growth.

The officials of the council accorded a warm welcome to Malik and exuded confidence in his abilities to lead with distinction.
