Ensure safety of J&K students: Pawan Sharma
Jammu, Apr 25: Senior BJP leader and former party state secretary, Pawan Sharma, today appealed the central and state governments to ensure the safety of J&K students studying across the country.
In a statement, he expressed his anguish over the brutal killing of innocent tourists by terrorists in Pahalgam. “The barbaric incident is a stark reminder of the challenges our nation faces from anti-national elements. I strongly condemn this act of terrorism and assure the nation that the Modi government will take all necessary steps to bring the perpetrators to justice,” Sharma said.
He emphasised that the government is committed to taking stringent action against those who carried out this heinous incident and those who supported them. “We will not tolerate any form of terrorism or anti-national activity in our country. Our security forces are working tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of our citizens, and we will continue to support them in their efforts,” the BJP leader said.
Sharma further stated that as a nation, “we are angry and outraged by this incident, but it is essential that we maintain peace and harmony.” “I appeal to the central and state govts to take responsibility for ensuring that students, employees, and businessmen from Jammu and Kashmir across the country do not face any kind of problem. We must stand united against terrorism and work towards building a strong and prosperous India,”he said.
