‘Ensure adherence to power curtailment schedule’

Srinagar, July 4: Residents of Khonakhan Dalgate and its adjoining areas have urged PDD to ensure adherence to the power curtailment schedule and avoid unscheduled power cuts, especially during peak evening hours.

A delegation from the area said the area, which is on Feeder 5, is fully metered. “As per schedule, there should be curtailment of 4.5 hours per day. However, there are additional power cuts, especially during peak evening hours. Power outages cause immense inconvenience to residents and tourists in the area amid scorching heat,” they said.
