Jakarta, Indonesia - R20 International Summit of Religious Authorities (ISORA)

Dated 26 November to 28 November, Haji Syed Salman Chishty’s three nation peace journey commences at the R20 ISORA summit in Jakarta, Indonesia, themed “Religion’s Role in Addressing Middle East Violence and Threats to a Rules-based International Order.” Organised by Nahdlatul Ulama, the summit seeks to explore the transformative potential of religion in promoting peace and contributing to a rules-based international order. Distinguished figures, including Indonesian President H.E. Joko Widodo and Kyai Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf, will deliver opening remarks, as well as global spiritual and religious leaders setting the stage for a global dialogue on these pressing matters.

Dubai, UAE - COP 28 - Faith Pavilion

Continuing his quest for global harmony with unconditional love, Haji Syed Salman Chishty will journey to Dubai, UAE, will address the COP 28 - Faith Pavilion. UN’s COP 28 in Dubai, COP (Conference of the Parties) is the UN’s main international gathering each year dedicated to addressing Climate Change and global environmental issues. This year for the first time there will be a Faith Pavilion dedicated to showcasing the important role of faith and spirituality in relation to climate and the environment in general. The Faith Pavilion was co created by UNEP’s Faith for Earth Initiative, the Muslim Council of Elders and Partnership on Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD). It is here at the Faith Pavilion that “UNITY EARTH and Partners” will be presenting on December 1, in the presence of Global Heads of States including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, spiritual and religious heads from diverse faiths including HH Pope Francis. The discussion will center around the intersection of faith and environmental stewardship.
