Elaborate security arrangements in place for Mela Kheerbhawani: SSP Ganderbal

Ganderbal, June 12: Police on Wednesday said that Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the upcoming mela Kheerbawani in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta said that all the security related foolproof arrangements are in place and pilgrims should come without any fear. SSP visited Kheerbawani Temple in Tulmulla area of Ganderbal to review security arrangements.

" Elaborate foolproof security arrangements have been put in place for pilgrims intending to visit Mata Kherbhawani in Tulmulla area of Ganderbal district, adding that all routes have been secured for the safety of pilgrims who intend to visit Mata Kherbhawani temple here. Besides Jammu and Kashmir police, CSPF and army have also been deployed for a secure and peaceful Mela Kheerbhawani.

“We are here for them and assure pilgrims that their safety is of most importance for us. They shouldn’t feel any threat and should visit the Mata Kherbhawani temple without any fear as we are here for their safety and security,” he said.
