Educational Trust Kashmir organises Eid-e-Milad related event

Srinagar, Sep 22: The Educational Trust Kashmir organised a grand celebration of Eid-e-Milad and Haftaé Wahdat at Iqbal Khomeini Hall, symbolically called the Meelad Conference.

The event saw the participation of hundreds of students and teachers from various Imamia Public Schools (IPS), managed by the Trust.

A highlight of the event was the speech competition, where twelve talented students delivered inspiring speeches on the auspicious unity theme and significance of Eid-e-Milad. The performance of schools was evaluated by a panel of three judges Aga Syed Abid Hussain Rizvi, Sheikh Mohammad Shafi and Dr Mushtaq Hyder.

Falak Zehra, a third primary student of IPS Ichgam Budgam was awarded the first prize for his remarkable speech, while Fatima Zehra from IPS Wahab-Pora secured second and Falak Zehra secured third place. In addition to these honours, an alumnus of IPS Sofipora Pahalgam Dr Zulfiqar Ali was also felicitated for his achievements and contributions to the community.

The event, which promoted unity and religious harmony, was a reflection of the Trust’s commitment to both education and the nurturing of values among the youth.
