Educational tour organised by Army concludes
Srinagar, Feb 18: The Chinar Corps & HQ 31 Sub Area has announced the successful conclusion of an enriching educational tour for students from Kashmir University. The tour was meant to broaden the horizons of the students and foster cross-culture understanding.
From February 17, the students embarked on a transformative journey, engaging in insightful interactions, exploring historical landmarks, and forging lasting connections with press from Delhi University. The educational tour, organised by the Chinar Corps, provided students with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse array of experiences, ranging from academic engagements to cultural excursions. Throughout the tour, students had the privilege of visiting iconic landmark such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, Indiagate, National War Memorial, PM Sangrahaalay and historic places like Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid thereby gained first-hand insights into India’s rich cultural heritage and architectural marvels.
A highlight of the tour was the interaction with students from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, where participants engaged in vibrant discussions on topics ranging from academia to current affairs. This exchange of ideas and perspectives served as a catalyst for intellectual growth and mutual learning, transcending boundaries and fostering camaraderie among students from different backgrounds.
Furthermore, the students had the distinct honor of engaging in a thought- provoking dialogue with Lieutenant General M V Suchindra Kumar, Vice Chief of Army Staff.
