Pulwama, Oct 27: The Zia Foundation recently conducted an impactful educational event in Sangerwani, a remote area of Pulwama district, aimed at raising awareness about the critical issues of education and child labour.

The event saw active participation from community members, educators, and local leaders, all coming together to discuss the importance of education and the challenges associated with child labour.

Rakib Ahmad Zia, Chairman of the Zia Foundation, addressed the gathering, speaking about the transformative power of education and the urgent need to combat child labour in underserved regions. He highlighted the adverse impact of child labour on children's well-being, growth, and future opportunities, stressing that quality education is a fundamental right that must be accessible to all children, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Through interactive sessions, discussions, and informational materials, the event was aimed to educate attendees on the legal provisions against child labour and the benefits of schooling. Zia further reiterated the foundation's commitment to working towards educational equity and creating awareness in remote areas like Sangerwani.
