Education strengthens religious harmony: Azad

Jammu, Feb 3: Chairman of Democratic Azad Party (DPAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad, today said that the education strengthens the religious harmony.

According to a press release, he attended the annual day celebration at Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jammu, as chief guest. Azad passionately advocated for elevated educational standards, highlighting the transformative power of quality education. “ I hail the school management for their steadfast commitment to providing not just academic excellence but also a rich and diverse curriculum,”he said.

Azad, expressed his joy at witnessing the exceptional accomplishments of girls who outshined and received maximum awards and marks. He emphasised the pivotal role girls play in shaping the future and referred to them as the cornerstone of our nation’s progress. The DPAP chairman also stressed the need to integrate social education into the curriculum, nurturing individuals not only academically but also socially aware and responsible. He highlighted the importance of discipline as a foundation for personal & societal growth. He urged for a collective sense of responsibility, emphasising that each citizen plays a crucial role in contributing to the progress and well-being of the nation.

Azad, highlighted the importance of religious harmony in education during a recent address. He praised the cultural diversity of Jammu and the entire nation, emphasizing that the coexistence of various faiths is a testament to the pluralistic fabric that defines our society. He urged for continued efforts to maintain and strengthen religious harmony, viewing it as an “essential element in the unity and progress of our nation.”
