E-VERIFICATION ROLLS | 44 applicants under SRO 43 asked to submit details in 21 days

Jammu, Jan 6: Forty-four candidates, who have applied for compassionate appointments under SRO-43 of 1994, have been asked to submit their details within twenty-one days for filling up of e-verification rolls for obtaining their character and antecedents from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

It has been warned that they will lose their right to appointment under Compassionate Appointment Rules in case they fail to meet the deadline to fulfil the desired requirements.

The candidates have been asked to submit their email IDs and contact details in the office of respective Deputy Commissioners or in the cabinet section, General Administration Department, Civil Secretariat, Srinagar or Jammu, in person, during this period (21 days) positively.

“This is imperative for filling up of e-verification rolls for obtaining their character and antecedents from the Criminal Investigation Department, failing which they shall forfeit their right to appointment under Compassionate Appointment Rules,” the General Administration Department has cautioned.

In this connection, the concerned Deputy Commissioners have been tasked to facilitate the filling up of e-verification rolls of the applicants by holding special camps in their offices.

“After due punching of the data, the e-verification rolls may be forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Department, J&K. The reports so received by the office of Deputy Commissioners may be forwarded to the General Administration department through email,” it has been directed.

Besides, the concerned Deputy Commissioners have also been asked to provide the latest marital status in case of female applicants.

Of these 44 candidates, ten are domiciles of Anantnag district; one is domicile of Bandipora district; eight are from Baramulla district; one each is domicile of Budgam, Doda and Kathua districts; two are from Ganderbal district; five from Jammu district; two each are domiciles of Kupwara, Rajouri and Samba districts and three each are from Poonch, Shopian and Srinagar districts.

Out of them, 39 candidates have applied for compassionate appointments in the Jal Shakti department; three in the Rural Development department and two in the forest department.
