DYOD students to undertake environment sustainability project

Awantipora, Sep 9: Embracing a multidisciplinary approach and fostering problem-solving skills, the DYOD students at IUST are undertaking a project on environmental sustainability with a special focus on Dal Lake.

As part of their research, the students visited Dal Lake, interacted with experts including officials from LAWDA, and collected samples for study.

The experiential learning approach, integral to the “Design Your Own Degree programme” is intended to cultivate problem-solving abilities among students by encouraging them to leverage knowledge and methods from diverse spheres, including modern scientific systems as well as traditional practices and folklore.
