DyCM, Dar, MP attend Gagangeer terror attack victim’s last rites in Jammu

Jammu, Oct 22: A day after the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha met the family members of Gagangeer terror attack victim from Jammu, Shashi Abrol and assured to take care of job and education of the next of kin, the Deputy Chief Minister (DyCM) Surinder Kumar Choudhary Tuesday reiterated the government’s commitment to fully support his family.

Choudhary gave this assurance to Shashi’s father as he (DyCM), along with several other leaders, cutting across party affiliations, attended the last rites of victim at Shakti Nagar Cremation Ground. Minister for Agriculture Production Department Javid Ahmad Dar too accompanied Choudhary.

Besides, the Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and several other senior BJP leaders attended the last rites of Shashi Abrol and offered condolences to the family.

As he met the grieving father of Shashi, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that they were there to share their grief. “The government-led by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is committed to provide all desired assistance to the family,” he assured him (Shashi’s father), who reiterated the family’s demand for a job to his wife as Shashi was sole bread-earner for the family.
