He said that further action would be taken once he receives a detailed report from the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Baramulla.

“We will look into it thoroughly as soon as the complete report is submitted,” he said.

Addressing the issue of staff shortages in various government educational institutions across north Kashmir, the director acknowledged the challenge but affirmed that the department was actively working to resolve it.

He said the rationalisation of staff would be carried out during the winter to ensure optimum deployment and that efforts were underway to fill all vacant posts at the earliest.

“We are trying our best to address staff deficiency and ensure that no school suffers due to a lack of manpower,” Wani assured.

The director’s visit to GBHSS Sopore not only reaffirmed the department’s commitment to maintaining high standards in exam management but also brought renewed hope regarding long-pending infrastructural and administrative issues in the region.
