Dry weather likely from Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir: MeT

Srinagar, April 30: The weather is expected to improve from tomorrow in Jammu and Kashmir, with the local meteorological department predicting generally cloudy conditions until May 5th.

During the last 24 hours, the plains experienced heavy rain, while the higher reaches received fresh snowfall.

On April 30th, generally cloudy skies with light rain and thunder are expected in many places, said the MeT spokesperson.

He mentioned that generally dry weather with occasional thunderstorms is likely in a few places from May 1st to May 5th.

From May 6th to May 7th, light rain with thunder is expected in scattered places.

The weatherman advised farmers to resume farm operations from May 1st."
